Overview Enfield is home to the first community-owned wind farm in New York State and the second such wind farm in the United States; Black Oak Wind Farm, on Connecticut Hill, takes advantage of the windiest spot in the county and an ideal location between power stations to the east and west. Robert Treman State Park, with miles of CCC-built trails along the side of Treman gorge, has swimming, picknicking, and full camping facilities.
